Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education AJK was established in 1973 in Mirpur, Azad Kashmir, which is responsible to manage and regulate the education standard in the schools and colleges located in Azad Jammu and Kashmir. AJK Board conducts the Inter and matric annual exams in the schools and colleges at the fixed dates and times. BISE AJK starts process of receiving the application forms from the candidates and prepares the documents like AJK Board roll number slips and date sheets. BISE Azad Kashmir also establishes the exams centers in which the students have to appear in the annual exams of SSC and HSSC classes.

Mirpur Board AJK released the BISE Mirpur AJK matric date sheet for class 9th and SSC part 2 date sheet in February few weeks before start of the annual exams of 9th and 10th classes in the month of March. AJK Board also conducts the exams of FA/FSc part 1 and HSSC part 2 annual exams in the month of April while the AJK Board Inter part 1 date sheet and 12th class date sheet is issued to the students on their mailing addresses during the month of March. AJK Board has its own schedule to prepare Matric and FA/FSc annual exams results, which are normally prepared within three months and also announces in the same period.
